Executive

Ted Weyn, Chief Executive Officer

With over 25 years of services and supply chain experience, Ted brings a unique skill set and leadership focus to Portare Services. Prior to joining Portare, Ted has created over a dozen successful startup business ventures both for personal, private and public companies. All of these opportunities were focused on the services, technology and supply chain marketplace.

After serving for 15 years in the Human Capital Management Services industry, Ted used his experiences to co-create one of the first web based procure-to-pay technology systems in the market. Upon sale of that venture, Ted launched a successful Services Procurement Consultancy that managed over $1B in customer transactions and saved his clients over 20% hard dollar costs through re-engineering processes and innovative solutions.

Now with Portare, Ted is bringing not only his proven business track record but his rich supply chain and services experiences to this innovative product. A graduate of Fordham University, Ted has also served on the Advisory Board for the Sourcing Interests Group and acts as a business advisor to the non-profit organization, Growing Leaders.

Ron Reeser, Managing Partner

Ron has over 30 years of extensive experience in the commercial and residential real estate development industry. Ron formally served as the chairman of The Eagle Group; an Atlanta based residential and commercial land Development Company with operations throughout the Southeast. Ron has held the position of Chairman, CEO and principal stockholder in 14 companies over that time that operated in disciplines of real estate research, acquisition, entitlement, financing, developing, building and marketing. In the last 10 years his companies, operating under the Eagle Group umbrella, have entitled and/or developed residential and/or commercial properties in 19 counties in Georgia, 4 counties in NW Florida and 1 county in Hawaii with total project value of over $3 Billion.

Ron began his real estate career with Land Data Corporation before forming his own company, The Probe Corporation, which published feasibility and market studies for regional and national real estate developers and investment groups. Ron has focused on structuring research based real estate transactions working with many of the real estate industry’s preeminent land planners, developers and financiers. Ron received his education at the University of Georgia majoring in real estate where he captained the varsity wrestling team.

Ken Minchew, Managing Partner

For over 40 years Ken has been successful within the residential and commercial real estate industry. Minchew Enterprises soon became known as a leader of innovative design and flawless execution of real estate construction and development.

Ken has also served as the President for the Multi-Family Housing for the Metro Atlanta Homebuilders Association and has been an active builder and developer in the Atlanta market for over forty years. Ken has enjoyed success in a variety of different product types including single family detached homes, single family attached homes, high density town homes, office condominium communities and warehousing. While winning several National Design Awards, including a National Award from Professional Builder Magazine in 2002 Minchew Enterprises was voted the number one office condominium developer in Atlanta.

Ken achieved the Republican nomination for the State Senate in Georgia and has served as an organizer and director of Brookhaven Bank. Today Brookhaven Bank has successfully grown to $120,000,000 in assets. Ken’s rich business, construction and financing experience bring a unique skill set to the Portare team. Ken is a graduate from Louisiana State University with a degree in Business Administration.

Ted Zaleski, Vice President of Engineering

Ted has extensive experience with all aspects of the product development process from defining market needs and technical specifications through development, testing, and commercialization. With over 35 years of experience, Ted has managed R&D, Design and Manufacturing Engineering, QA, and Technical Support groups in an executive capacity for several multi-billion dollar oil and gas service companies including Baker International, Baker Hughes, and Smith International. As a result, Ted is well versed in most aspects of oil and gas well construction as well as the surface and rig equipment used in drilling and completing wells. He has also provided guidance and assistance to both well established and start-up companies on their product development needs through his own company focusing on the energy and automotive market segments.

With project experience on six continents, Ted brings a professional product development process to the Portare Team to ensure the target markets are served with products that meet the functional, operational, and value requirement of our clients. Ted is guiding the use of state-of-the-art analytic tools and processes for today’s product development needs as well as planning future upgrades, accessories, and product life cycle management to ensure long term competitiveness. Ted is a Mechanical Engineering graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology and serves on the Petroleum Engineering Advisory Board at Louisiana State University.

Matt Flynn

Matt is a professional football player, entering his seventh season as an NFL quarterback. Matt was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL draft. During his time with the Packers, Matt was a member of the Super Bowl XLV championship team. In 2013, he helped guide the team to a play-off birth after starting 5 of the last 6 games of the season. He currently owns Green Bay passing records for most yards thrown in a single game and most touchdowns thrown in a single game.

After being named one of the top high school quarterbacks in the country, Matt received a full athletic scholarship to attend Louisiana State University. In 2003 he was a member of the BCS National Championship team. In 2007 Matt led LSU to another BCS National Championship, where he was named MVP.

Outside of the gridiron, Matt earned his Bachelor Degree from Louisiana State University in 2007. He is constantly pursuing entrepreneurial endeavors and investment opportunities. He is co-owner of Four Horsemen Stables LLC, who currently have part ownership in the horse, Ring Weekend, who has earned a spot in the 2014 Kentucky Derby. For 10 Years, he has used his platform as a football player to encourage today’s youth. Matt has worked with Children’s Hospitals, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, NFL Play60, and many other local charities around the country. Matt is proven winner, and he brings that attitude to Portare Services.

Tracy Billings

Tracy has been an entrepreneur from an early age working in the family business of Moultrie International Truck and Tractor Dealership. For over 30 years Tracy has been working and serving the oil & gas, construction and facilities management industries. Beginning as a professional in private Commercial / Industrial Real Estate specialized in warehousing and cross dock facilities for air freight and trucking companies, Tracy then moved into fuel business as real estate director for multi-state retail convenience and truck stop facilities for one of the region’s largest fuel jobber.

Tracy currently owns several small businesses in Georgia and Alabama as well as Billings Realty Investments, LLC based in Columbus GA. Tracy’s rich transportation experience serves as a perfect resource to the Portare business concepts. Tracy has a Finance degree and Real Estate minor from Jacksonville State University.
